WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY TO VIEW THE LEADERBOARD? WTF?!

The point system was initially added to encourage users to post and make sites as the content consisted only of my posts, but over time I have grown more and more frustrated with and despise it’s inclusion. It gamified the act of posting, which encourages users to posts for the sake of winning and not the sake of writing. This site is meant to be used as a therapeutic refuge, you’re only supposed to use this site to scream into the void and if you want someone to hear you there’s a small chance that someone might and if not, then you could avoid it. The site does not need points to incentivize the creation of new content. However, I did not want to remove it though as if I do decide to reincorporate it, doing so would mean resetting everyone’s already existing points. My temporary solution is to counter-act it’s gamify-ing ways by nerfing it. You can still look at leaderboards if you want to, but it will cost you more to view it once than you made to write, submit, and have your post be accepted/published. It is still there, this just discourages you all from using it.
